When machining parts in a machining plant, if the workpiece is too high, it should be roughed in layers with knives of different lengths. After roughing with a large knife, the remaining material should be removed with a small knife. Use a flat-bottomed knife to process the plane, and use a ball knife less to reduce processing time; if there is a slope and it is an integer, use a sloped knife for processing.
At the same time, set the tolerance reasonably to balance the processing accuracy and computer calculation time, do more processes, and reduce idle time; if the blank material has high hardness, choose reverse milling; if the blank material has low hardness, choose forward milling. Roughing is reverse milling, and finishing is forward milling; tool materials with good toughness and low hardness are suitable for roughing, and tool materials with poor toughness and high hardness are suitable for finishing.
The clamping method of the processed parts in the CNC machine tool processing of the machining plant should also reasonably select the positioning reference and clamping scheme. When selecting the precision reference, it is generally necessary to follow the two principles of "reference unification" and "reference coincidence". In addition to these two principles, it is also necessary to consider completing the processing of all surfaces in one positioning and clamping. Therefore, it is necessary to choose a positioning method that is convenient for all surfaces to be processed.
When the workpiece is clamped once, it should be able to complete the processing of all surfaces of the workpiece; when determining the placement of the workpiece on the workbench, it should be considered that it can take into account the processing of each station, the length of the tool, and the influence of the rigidity of the tool on the processing quality. The fixtures used in CNC processing should be assembled from general components and adjustable fixtures as much as possible to shorten the production preparation cycle.
When the machining plant arranges the processing sequence, the basic principles must be followed, including "face first, then hole", "rough first, then fine", etc. Process according to the tool centralized process to avoid repeated use of the same tool and reduce the number and time of tool changes.
For hole systems with high coaxiality requirements, the hole system should be processed completely after one positioning, and then the hole systems at other coordinate positions can be processed. This can eliminate the errors caused by repeated positioning and improve the coaxiality of the hole system. Select and determine the tool point and tool change point. Once determined, it is not advisable to change them.
