When machining mechanical components, when the workpiece is too high, different lengths of knives should be used to cut in layers. After using a large knife to carry out the cutting, the remaining material should be cleaned up with a small knife. Using flat bottomed knives to process flat surfaces, using fewer ball knives to reduce processing time; If there is a slope and it is an integer, use a slope knife for machining.
Reasonably setting tolerances at the same time, promoting a balance between machining accuracy and computer calculation time, doing more processes, and reducing empty tool time; High hardness of raw materials, choose reverse milling; The raw material has low hardness, so choose forward milling. Rough machining reverse milling, precision machining forward milling; The tool material has good toughness and low hardness, which is suitable for rough machining, while the tool material has poor toughness and high hardness, which is suitable for precision machining.
The clamping method for machining parts on CNC lathes should also be scientifically selected for positioning reference and clamping scheme. When selecting precision reference, the principles of "standard uniformity" and "standard overlap" should generally be followed. In addition to these principles, it is also necessary to consider completing all surface machining in one positioning clamping as much as possible. Therefore, it is necessary to choose a positioning method that is convenient for each surface to be machined.
When clamping the workpiece at once, it should be possible to process all surfaces of the workpiece; When determining the placement position of the workpiece on the workbench, consideration should be given to the impact of the length of the cutting tool and its stiffness on the machining quality, which can take into account the processing of each workstation. The commonly used fixtures in control machining should be those that are assembled with universal components and can be adjusted as much as possible to reduce the production preparation cycle.
When assigning machining sequences in mechanical processing, the basic principles must be followed, including "first face, then hole", "first rough, then fine", and so on. Process according to the centralized process of cutting tools to prevent the same tool from being repeatedly used, reduce the frequency and time of tool alignment.
For a hole system with high coaxiality requirements, after a single positioning, all machining of the hole system should be completed before machining other coordinate positions of the hole system. This can eliminate the deviation caused by repeated positioning and improve the coaxiality of the hole system. Choose the appropriate cutting point or alignment point, and once it is determined, it should not be replaced.
